My kids have always been bad to want to snack during the summer months while they are out of school. One of the hardest things I deal with is trying to keep healthy snacks at arms reach for them since we all know it's easier most times to grab unhealthy over healthy. I always keep a selection of apples and bananas out on the kitchen counter and for the past months I have noticed that if I bag healthy snacks and put them in a special box on the kitchen table that the kids will grab those over junk.
