A little Elf Magic with a visit from Colby the Elf!
On Thanksgiving morning Austin came into my room. "Mom, there are donuts on the couch! I said who would put donuts on the couch? He said there is an Elf next to them!" Sure enough our Elf had come to visit and brought donuts for us to eat for breakfast (isn't he thoughtful!) His name is Colby and he has been great fun! He doesn't require much care but each night Xander and Austin set him in his little snowcase which looks like a house and give him some crackers (which remind him of crunchy snow) and ice water (the melty North Pole snowflakes). The also sprinkle him with a dusting of Magic North Pole Snowflakes.
Our Elf Colby must have some great adventures or rather 'Elfcapades' we have found him in the most unusual places each morning. One time he was in Baby Jace's carseat all strapped in! Another night he must have been watching television because he was all covered up with a blanket and remote. Two nights ago we found him in the cabinet where the playstation was and last night he was in the cabinet where we keep his crackers! He must have needed a midnight snack!
It is not too late for you to ask Santa to send some Elf Magic to your home. I'll keep you posted on Colby's elfcapades so look for another update soon! Xander was so happy he wrote a Thank You note to Santa!

So cute! I love all of his cozy places to sleep at night. I just bought the Elf on the Shelf for my son and can't wait for him to really get into it. He is only 7 months old :-).
