Alphabeasts: A Fun Way To Learn

Wednesday, June 29, 2011

I think it's fantastic to be able to incorporate fun and learning. Children are like little sponges and absorb everything, but I have noticed when learning is made into a fun activity they seem to absorb even more!

Recently Luke and Davis had the opportunity to check out Alphabeasts. Alphabeasts are more than just plush and loveable, they are also a fantastic learning companion that has been created to help teach children their ABC's and how to spell while having fun!

Eacho f the 26 Alphabeasts has a distinctive design characteristic and physical attribute that makes them unique from one another. We had the opportunity to review the letter D and the letter L.

About Our Letters:
Dadildoit (D): Actions speak louder than words to this beast. Dadildoit, best friend of Intooit, is always focused on getting things done. With the amazing ability to breathe fire, this beast is always helpful with projects, or then again, you might want to stand back if he becomes impatient. Get the water hoses ready!

Lackyloo (L): The flying daydreamer. Lackyloo, like Gumblegoop, can fly, but does it more whimsically. Extremely forgetful and never in a hurry, this beast can be found doing tasks at her own pace. Her routine includes sleeping in, floating around Alphaland, napping, and of course helping other beasts...just at a different pace.

These adorable little beasts are two-sided with contrasting colors front and back, and are adorned with upper and lower case alphabet characters on each side to enhance learning and playful functionality.

About The Creators...
Two cool dads, one brilliant idea, 26 irresistible creatures. Fathers Andy Ferguson and Chad Whitman truly understand the importance of education, parent and child interaction, imaginative play and learning through fun. It was their desire and passion to create a line that provided fun while learning. And so they did. Today, they are proud to introduce Alphabeasts, the new learning companions. Andy and Chad encourage you to share the joy, fun, play, love and learning experiences these adorable beasts have to offer.

What We Thought:
We absolutely love these adorable little Alphabeasts.  The kids are always playing with them or even using them as a pillow since they are super soft!  I admit that they are rather addictive in that there are already a few that my son wants to add to his collection!  I think they are at an affordable price since they are so versatile ($20 SRV), and I would highly recommend this product to any of my friends looking for fun learning ideas.

Be sure to check Alphabeasts out on Facebook as well!
