Cogs: Puzzle Game for PC and iPhone Review

Wednesday, February 03, 2010

I admit that I don't get to play puzzle games on the computer as much as I did before our son was born, but it is nice to be able to squeeze them in on occasion.  Thanks to Game Review Network I had the opportunity to review the fun yet challenging puzzle game Cogs. I love the challenge behind it the puzzles and Cogs, from Lazy8 Studios is perfect to relax in those early morning hours when everyone else is sleeping.

In case you are wondering what exactly Cogs is, it is a puzzle game where players build machines from sliding tiles. You are probably thinking that there is nothing new about a game that involves sliding tiles, but Cogs has really added a twist in that it has added moving machine parts. The machine parts and 3-D movements really do add to the game and makes it seem much more fun and challenging.

Cogs is an innovative new puzzle game for the PC and iPhone where players build an incredible variety of machines from sliding tiles. Immersed in a steampunk world with stunning visual design, Cogs is pure eye candy. And with 50 unique levels and three gameplay modes, we've packed in hours of entertaining, addictive fun.

If you love great puzzle challenges then Cogs may be just what you are looking for!  Especially since each levels requires you to complete a broken machine there is a challenge around every corner.  You can visit CogsGame.com and download a free trial to see you like it.  The free trial will allow you to be challenged by 8 different puzzles, but don't worry!  If you get addicted like we have you can always purchase it for $9.99.
