I know we are all pushed for time, but how many of you have 60 minutes a day to devote to working out? It sounds like a small time frame and I understand that it is hard to get 60 minutes to yourself, but don't we all as parents owe that little amount of time to help us better our overall health? If not for us, then for our kids.
60 minutes is all it takes to do a workout with Pulse Yoga. This DVD is absolutely amazing and let say that when you finish your 60 minutes, you feel absolutely amazing! I will admit that this DVD is not just a walk in the part. It is challenging but it isn't overly hard. Trust me when I say that I am not the best person out there when it comes to yoga and I was able to complete this workout the first time without any stops. But the challenge of the moves is really what kept me motivated.
Pulse Yoga is a new concept, marrying the best elements and diciplines of Pilates, Weight Training, and Yoga into one structured class session. It is designed to help build strength, balance and flexibility. The combination that certified fitness instructor Argie Tang teaches makes this workout what it is!
Here is a little clip from the video:
A basic yoga routine that introduces the Pulse concept of micro movements within a posture. Key areas such as abdominal, lower back and gluteous muscles are targeted. Alternating right/left pulse movements with free weights define and sculpt the upper body.
- Apply the use of free weights in novel ways to basic yoga postures
- Strengthen and tone key areas such as the abdominals, lower back upper arms and gluteus
- Teach core awareness
- Stretch chronically tight areas such as the hamstrings and hip flexors

It was invented after the creator was told that she needed a weight training routine due to health problems, but she didn't want to give up yoga.
