Human Body Detectives: The Lucky Escape Review

I recently was contacted to do a review for the Human Body Detectives. From the minute I read about this program I was hooked. I had an idea that this was going to be a fantastic product for my daughter.

This book is an extremely well thought out book and isn't your typical educational book. In this book you are following the adventures of Dr. Manley's children on healthy eating. It is just a super fun learning experience and it really kept my daughters interest because the learning was made fun. Honestly, she never even thought about it as a learning experience.




With an audio CD and workbook that is full of activities, children learn about digestion and how eating good food helps in the process. I had fun learning right along with my daughter. It really was a great experience!

Dr. Manley's daughters, Merrin and Pearl star in the CD and even have blogs of their own on the Human Body Detective website.  This site has fantastic videos and downloadable coloring sheets to supplement the ones that are already in the activity book.

If anyone is looking for a fun and creative way to help their children learn about the human body and healthy eating, I would highly recommend Human Body Detectives:The Lucky Escape. I am sure you and your children will fall in love with the book!
