The Teething Pain Relief Necklace Review

Wednesday, October 28, 2009

My son has teethed for what seems like forever.  He was very late at getting his teeth.  The day he turned two, he only had six teeth.  He still wants to chew on anything that is going to help him.  So when I had the opportunity to the Amber Teething Necklace from Supermama, I couldn't refuse.  The past two days he has had the Amber Teething Necklace on and I have seen a world of difference.  It has really helped him with his teething pain! This is an amazing product!

So what exactly is a teething necklace?  An Amber Teething pain relief necklace is a natural teething pain remedy for babies and toddlers ages two months to two years. As we all know once our little ones start teething, they have bad days that can easily last for a week or more. With a teething necklace, it really helps to sooth the baby.

How this works is the oils released from amber contain succinic acid, which recent scientific research has proven to have a beneficial effect on the human body. The benefits of the succinic acid include:
  • stimulating the thryoid glands to help reduce drooling
  • soothe red, inflamed cheeks
  • other calmative and anti-fever functions
You simply put the necklace on the baby's neck and it will work all by itself.  However, the necklace is not intended to be chewed, but simply worn.   If you are like me and worry about what happens if the baby gets the necklace hung on something or what if it breaks.  There is no need to worry at all.  The clasp of the necklace is made of plastic and the screw WILL bread away with pressure.  Also, the beads are individually knotted for safety and durability, so if the necklace breaks, only one bead will come off.

The Supermama Amber Teething Pail Relief Necklace can be purchased for around $26.  I know that sounds like a lot, but if you consider how much you will spend on tablets, gels and other teething products, the price is very reasonable!

This is solely the opinion of As They Grow Up. Other people may have different experiences with the product.Thank you to Supermama for providing a product to test.

You reference "recent scientific research." Do you have any references you can share? I'm am trying to research Baltic amber, but have only found vague references to research, such as yours.
