Keurig Review & (Giveaway Closed)

Friday, April 24, 2009

I love coffee and hot tea. I love it even more when it takes me less than a minute to have it ready to drink. With that being said, I recently had the opportunity to try the Keurig Platinum Brewing System you see pictured on the left.

This coffee pot is really amazing to say the least. I am always rushed and to find time to heat up water and then wait for my tea to steep just isn't always possible, not to mention the time it takes to make one cup of coffee in a traditional coffee pot. With the Keurig, I simply just place in my K-cup of choice and that's it. With over 200 choices of coffee and tea to pick from, it is so easy to find ones that you love.

The Keurig Platinum offers the full spectrum of features including Auto On/Off, Digital Clock, Adjustable Temperature Control and the "Set Your Favorite Cup Size" option. The largest available 60 oz. removable water reservoir holds up to ten cups before refilling and the removable drip tray allows for easy cleaning and the use of travel mugs.

Here is a quick video I did from placing the coffee into the Keurig until it finished brewing.

Features of the Platinum Brewer:
  • 5 cup sizes (4oz., 6oz., 8oz., 10oz. & 12oz.)
  • Removable 60oz reservoir
  • Fully Programmable Features
  • Blue Backlit Display
  • Quiet Brew Technology
Today, Keurig® is the leading single-cup brewing system in North America-for both At Home and Away From Home. Now, you can enjoy a fresh cup of gourmet coffee or tea, and hot cocoa Keurig Brewed® in less than a minute, without any set-up or clean-up. Keurig's popular coffee, tea and hot cocoa brands offer hundreds of K-Cups® to choose from, so everyone can have their favorite variety.

Keurig is very generously offering one my my readers the chance to win a Platinum Brewer valued at $169.95, plus an assortment of K-Cups

MANDATORY ENTRY:
(Please Leave A Valid Email Address)
  • Visit Keurig and then come back here and leave me a comment telling me which other Keurig product/accessory you would like to try.
Thank you to everyone that took time to enter. This giveaway had an amazing turnout and I am so glad that I use random.org to pick the winner. However, since there could only be one winner, Random.org picked number 963 as the winner.

First off, WOW this is an awesome giveaway. Keurig is currently the IT coffee system. A friend of mine owns one and I must admit if I had the extra cash it would be well worth it. Now if I had to choose something else from their site it would have to the water filter. I live on long island & to be quite frank the water is icky out here to say the least. With the filter I could use the water and help save a buck or two on my current water service.

Oh My Gosh! I have been wanting this very Keurig Brewer! I am a bit of a coffee "freak" and this is the ultimate in coffee brewing, so very state of the art! I love that it brews your coffee to a temperature you set the brewer at and for me I can never get my coffee hot enough with my current brewer. This Keurig will give me my favorite cup of coffee at the hottest possible temp, they rock! Another product from Keurig I would love to have is the Keurig Water Filter. Take your coffee making to the next level and insure that the water you are using in your Keurig brewer is pure and free of any distasteful minerals! Very nice! Thanks so much for the wonderful opportunity to enter.
