My family recently received the Hotel For Dogs DVD. My daughter had wanted to go to watch it when it came out in theaters, but we were unable to make it. She was thrilled when Hotel For Dogs arrived. I wasn't sure how my two year old would like it, but surprisingly enough, he loved it just as much as my thirteen year old. This is just a great movie for the entire family and has surprises around every corner.The family comedy HOTEL FOR DOGS finds a new home today ( April 28, 2009 )when it arrives on DVD and Blu-ray from Paramount Home Entertainment. Starring Emma Roberts (Nancy Drew), Jake T. My favorite moments with my youngest pup (Evie) comes at nights. She's ready for bed about two to three hours before us. She waits until we aren't looking and open one of the bedroom doors, and she runs in, jumps in the bed, and hides under the cover. One night we spent over an hour looking for her before we realized that she was asleep, under a huge comforter, unable to hear us calling for her.

OH, there are so many moments! LOL! I will tell you one that is specifically related to a pet movie, too! We were flipping channels one day and 101 Dalmatians was showing on tv. Thatcher, our youngest pup, RAN up to the tv and got all excited! She stood herself up right in front of it, paws on the table and wagged her little tail and pointed her little hears and then when the puppies ran "off the screen" she went into the room 'behind the tv' to see if they were there! LOL! It was SO adorable!!!

The day my fiance brought home my little kitty cat from the animal shelter. I had just moved to a new state to get married and was sort of lonely. He got me my kitty to keep me company. He was my best friend.

My favorite moment with a pet is when my cat snuggles up to me at night and sleeps in bed with me. My husband works the night shift and I just love it when our cat keeps me company.

I still remember the day we took our dog Winston home from the breeder. He was so small and scared and we just held him and stroked him. They grow up way too fast, just like babies!!

We used to have a dog that we could use as a broom. She would hang on to an old sock by her teeth and we could swing her around and sweep the floor! (She loved it!) :-)

When I used to "lecture" my son he would stick his diapered bottom at me and say "just hit me and get it over with mom". One day when I was hanging clothes I was lecturing my son'd Dingo to not mess with my sheets and/or tear them down or he was really going to be in trouble. The dog turned around, stuck his bottom in the air looked over his shoulder and barked as if to say "just hit e and get it over with" I couldn't stop laughing.

This one was a little irritating, but also so funny that we couldn't stop laughing. One very nice day, we had the patio doors open, with the screen door closed. My daughter came in with her Great Dane, who was so excited that she just ran through the house and straight out the patio door, ripping the entire door frame out of the glide runners. The dog stopped and looked back at us as though she couldn't believe what had happened. The screen was still in the door, but the frame was bent a little, so it never has fit quite right since!

My favorite moment w/ my pet was the day we rescued him from the SPCA. He lived in a puppy mill in a cage for 3-5 years. He's a happy camper now:)

I am more of a cat person, so my favorite moment with a pet would have to be recently when we adopted our newest kitten. He chose me by reaching down to grab my hair from the cage above my head! He has now taken over the house and my heart, as well. His name is Emmett.

My favorite moment was when I was 6 and I found my first kitten. It was LOVE at first site. He was the cutest little thing ever a little orange and white kitty. I loved that cat like he was my baby, I always say he was my first baby, and at 32 pounds he was bigger than my baby, lol. I had him for 13 years before he passed away. He really was a unique and special cat.

There are quite a few,but I will definitely start by saying the day we adopted each of our(2) dogs.Hershey,our 4 year old mutt,we adopted from an upstairs neighbor and were fortunate to be able to interact with him on a daily basis from the time he was a week old till when he weaned,so of course the transitioning for him was effortless! And Kage,our german shepherd girl,who we adopted from our local animal shelter.Now that they are a part of our family,I can't imagine life without them! They are also very therapeutic for my 2 children,especially my 13 year old autistic son,who has to sleep with them every night as part of his regular routine! I really believe that (the dogs) have helped to prevent many a meltdown! Also,I am really looking forward to seeing this movie in the near future!

My wife and I foster rescued cocker spaniels so our house has sort of become a hotel for dogs. The day after we she came to us one of the fosters jumped up into my lap and laid back with her head in my armpit looking up at me with her big brown eyes. I started to pet her belly and her eyes closed halfway. I knew right then that we would be adopting this one.

My favorite moment with my cat Buster is when he follows my daughter around the house, everywhere she goes, because he loves her so much and wants her attention. He is either the most loving or the stupidest cat ever (my daughter is 2 and a half!) He makes us both so happy!

I have 11 cats and rescue strays and ferals. Hubby and I do this on our own, not for a shelter.
There are so many great moments it is hard to pick just one but I think the best was when a feral we took in finally decided he wanted to be loved on just like the other cats. Most cat experts tell you that ferals cannot be made an actual pet but that is not true. We have taken in 5 ferals and all but 1 has turned into a very loving pet and even like to sleep with us.
The last one, Sassy, after 1 year finally climbed up on the couch where I was laying and walked right up on me and laid down on my chest.

The annual Wiggle Waggle WalkaThon run by our local Humane Society. Just to be with all those dogs at once is wonderful, but when they recently ran one for Golden retrievers ONLY (my favorite dog!)I was in dog-heaven! Goldens to the right of me, to the left of me, in front and in back of me! It helped make up for not being able to have one in our mobile home park!

I love that my little 10 pound miniature pinscher gets a whole bunch of attitude when he thinks he is guarding me. A rotweiler is not this vicious. It scares people and that mekes me laugh 'cos he's no bigger than a peanut. I love it because I know all of it is out of love for me. Gee, He's so bad!

My favorite moment with my cat was when I heard two cats fighting outside and one of them appeared to be mine. I ran out there screaming my cat's name over and over again, and she walked around the house from the opposite direction, looking at me like I was crazy. It wasn't her fighting after all :-)

i use dot love when my lab would watch the game show network you could not get him away from it he would go on the couch on this back and watch with his head upside down over the edge for hours on end thanks for the giveaway

I would walk with my dog a lhasa apso but she would get tired and her tongue would start dragging. That was her hint for me to end the walk

Lots of favorites, too many too mention. One of the funniest was when when my roommate had surgery and was bed bound,Garth didn't even want her to answer the phone, when it would ring, he would come and find me and bark for me to answer.

I love coming home from work and hiding from my lil shih tzu! I hide in the closet and he goes CRAZY for about 15 minutes till I surrender from Laughing so much my stomach hurts! LOL~

I love when my cats curl up with my daughter to sleep at night. They always wait until she is asleep before they go in there, though. Sometimes that is how I get her to settle, by telling her as soon as she is still, a kitty will come in and sleep with her.

I think it is hilarious when my cat watches the birds. She scratches at the glass, meows and does anything she can to get at them.
