PETER POTTY REVIEW
The Worlds First Flushable Toddler Urinal

The Worlds First Flushable Toddler Urinal

The Peter Potty is known as the worlds first flushable toddler urinal. It is an easier way to train boys. It is very easy to assemble, not to mention that it is adjustable so that it grows with the child.
When we first started using Peter Potty, my 20 month old was already potty training using a regular training potty. I was very worried that he wouldn't understand how to use the Peter Potty. After the easy assembly, I explained to him that he stands up to go pee pee in the potty. I will admit that I had never laughed so hard when he said he had to go and turned around to set in it like he would his regular potty. Before I could turn him around he started to pee. But because of the dip shaped basin, none of it went into the floor. After being unsure of standing to go the first time, he has had no problems at all using the Peter Potty
I love the fact that it flushes. My son loved the fact that it flushed for the first day and wanted to flush the Peter Potty all the time. After the first day, now he only flushes it when he uses the Peter Potty. I think he did it so much of the first day was because it was so darn fun and new.
Now the Peter Potty is the potty that he prefers. He will go to the Peter Potty over any other. I still keep his seat out, but he never touches it. I would highly recommend this to anyone getting ready to potty train a little boy, or to one that is already potty trained.
Here is a little video I did showing how easy it is to fill up the water dispenser needed for the flushing: Ofcourse the one time I want my son to flush it, he is no where to be found.
**Real Water Flush: With the push of a button, the urinal flushes clean
**Grows With Your Child: Both stand mount and wall mount adjusts 4" to grow with child.
**All Day Capasity: Removable tray holds 50oz, so you can go all day without cleaning.

January 6, 2009 9:20 AM
This giveaway couldnt come at a better time. I'm in seriou sneed of a little help potty training my son.
I found this tip on the Peter Potty site, "Begin potty training at a time of low stress for your family. A new house, a new baby, daycare or any big changes can create a stressful experience and set you up for failure. Pick a time when you can provide the consistency that is essential to your child's success."
Which is a little scary since we're moving back to teh US next month and having our third child in a few months.
Still, I'm determined

This is the neatest thing I have ever seen for a toddler. My daughter has a little boy that will soon be needing this. This is totally awesome someone very intelligent had to come up with this. Thanks for the opportunity to win one.
January 6, 2009 3:52 PM
This is super!! I have had my first boy and I have no idea how to train him. I think this is so cute. Plus, I don't have to train him to sit now, and then to stand later. I can do it all at once. It will make him feel like such a big boy because he will have his own potty like the big guys. Loving it.

More success with Less mess. I think this would be cool since it looks like the potty grown men use so it wouldn't confuse boys.
January 7, 2009 11:45 AM
I learned that: It Can be wall mounted, free standing on supplied base or placed directly on floor!
I alos loved the tips on "When To Start potty training". This helps so much. Everyone just tells me you will know when to start. They had some awesome tips concerning the matter of potty traing boys.
What an awesome idea! We will be potty training in about 6 months!
This is nice. Boys have such a hard time trying to Aim in the toliet. Then they have to learn how to use urinals in public....but this solves that problem! Kudo's!!!!!!!!!!!

My First Potty™
The Peter Potty® My First Potty™ is designed specifically for potty training boys and girls aged 18 months to 2 ½ years.
My son would likely love the fact that he got his own toilet roll! It has bright colors which is great for him and easy to clean - great for me!

I love this potty!! As a mom of three boys (two who still need to be potty trained), this would be invaluable because DS#2 wants to go as he sees his big brother and he cannot stand up at a regular toilet yet, and could never stand at a training potty. But with this, big brother can help teach little brother. And little brother can be like big brother!!
January 13, 2009 4:32 PM
I also like the potty seat that they have. The potty seats always make the kids fell so big. I like the little "shield" on the front . . . it would keep DS from spraying the bathroom by accident.

My grandson overshoots the deflector cup - they have to put the potty-chair on plastic. This is so much more natural for boys!

I think the Peter Potty Pop Top would be great for when they have to 'sit' on the big potty!

What a great idea !
1. No more training your little man to sit first and stand later.
2.Can be wall mounted, free standing on supplied base or placed directly on floor.
Thanks for a great contest :)

This is great and would be perfect for my 4 boys that share a bathroom. thanks

It can be wall mounted. I think this is so funny and I bet my twin boys will find flushing it amusing, too. Thanks!

Potty training with the Peter Potty Toddler Urinal achieves success at a younger age - anywhere from 2 to 6 months faster than traditional sit-down training methods.

The button on the side of the urinal will provide for up to 4" in height adjustment and less mess!
January 21, 2009 12:00 AM
One benefit is there is no splash and no mess.
