I believe the causes for all kinds of cancers can start very early from exposure to chemicals all around us and in things we use.
January 21, 2009 8:13 PM
I believe it's important because good habits start early. Plus, we haven't seen the long-term affects of many of the chemicals used today. My child's safety is more important than anything.

It's important to not only what your child eats, but what is absorbed through the biggest organ on her body, skin. So many chemicals that are not meant to be used on humans show up in toiletries and body products and they are unnecessary and oftentimes, harmful. I'd rather try to use safe and natural products on my children for their health.

We really have no idea what the true effects of some of these chemicals are...and then there are others that we do know the harmful effects of, that we keep on using and subjecting delicate growing bodies and brains to. As my daughter has grown older (she is 12 now), I have really tried to stress with her the safer alternatives for skin care, deodorants, make-up, etc. and why it is important to make good choices.

It's important to keep chemicals out of skincare because we do not want toxins in our body that the chemicals have in them.

It's important to keeps kids skin away from chemicals because your skin is the largest organ in your body, years of unnecessary chemicals will not only hurt your skin, it may do permanent damage to other organs as well.
Thanks!

Chemicals aren't good for the skin because what goes on our skin , goes into our bloodstream. It can cause harsh rashes and breakouts also. I like this product being all natural, even the packaging. Thanks, Godesseablu@msn.com

I feel it is important to keep my children away from chemicals in their skincare products and routine because I believe in teaching them at a young age that using potentially harmful chemicals and ingredients on your skin is defeating the purpose of keeping it healthy and insuring beautiful skin. Educating them at a young age about the importance of using safe and natural skincare products on their skin will provide them with the knowledge that they need as they grow older to take pride in keeping their skin in the best possible condition. Thank you for the opportunity to enter. I would love to be a great role model by giving my daughter these products to incorporate into her own skincare routine.

The Organic rose hip oil is a VERY GOOD ingredient! It provides a natural moisture barrier to the skin; Tones and soothes. This is a multi-functional ingredient! Sounds wonderful to me!

I think it's extremely important to keep kids away from chemicals as we don't know what damage it will do to them in the future, it's very sad that people don't think about this most of the time!

I believe it's important to start kids out early on being aware of what their putting ON their bodies, as well as in their bodies. Early education in this area will help them make better choices throughout their lives. I love these products!

I heard that some chemical can effect hormones & cause sevre allergic reactions.
I think organic products are much safer for our kids & even ourselves.
There has just not been enough research to to the long term affects of chemicals in beauty products can have on us.

I believe the causes for all kinds of cancers and other medical problems can start very early from exposure to chemicals (ingested, inhaled and absorbed in the skin) all around us and in things we use on our skin. We don't know all of the risks of prolonged use of a lot of the chemicals all around us. We are still finding out the long-term effects of many of the chemicals used today. I lament every time they come out with how bad certain products are for us, and we have been using them for years (plastic bottles and plastics used to cook in microwaves are just a couple of examples). Okay -- I'll get off of my soapbox and say -- Go natural and go organic!!!
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!

My kids are exposed to so many chemicals in everyday life, in the air , in the water and on surfaces. I don't want to rub them on their skin, too.
February 6, 2009 11:15 AM
So many things are absorbed thru the skin. Why would you want to overload your child's body with chemicals when there are great products like this on the market. All to save a buck?
